Introduction:

Renowned worldwide for its bird sanctuary---Keoladeo Ghanna National Park, Bharatpur is just 55 Km from Agra and 176 Km from the capital Jaipur. The said Park is about 5 Km from the Bharatpur town with easy availability of cycle rickshaws (for ecological reasons) and is like an oasis for the Ornithologists amidst hot deserts. Supposedly known to be named after Bharat, the brother of Lord Rama, this city was founded by Maharaja Surajmal in 1733 AD who fortified it building massive wall around.
