Day 2: Delhi - Agra (195 kms / 122 miles)

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Later transfer to railway station to board the train for Agra. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Morning excursion to Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri (40 kms from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Agra. City tour of Agra, the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit the Agra Fort (Halls of Private and Public audience), Itmad-ud-Daula and other palaces.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
