These are the dates when millions of people from all over India and abroad take a dip in the holy Sangam (The place where the three rivers namely Ganga, Yamuna and mythological Saraswati Meets). On these special dates taking a dip into the river is considered to be very pious and accordingly to Hindu Mythology peoples sins get washed away after taking a dip into the river as these rivers bless one with purity and wisdom.
The itinerary :
Day 01: New Delhi: Arrival at the International airport and you will be received and assisted at the airport by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Over night at the hotel.
Day 02: New Delhi:
Proceed for sight seeing of old and New Delhi which includes Red fort, Qutub Minar Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and President's House. Evening at leisure and over night at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi-Agra:
Move out for the same day Agra trip to see the spectacular Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. In the evening drive back to Delhi to board the overnight train journey to Allahabad.
Day 04: Allahabad:
On arrival at the railway station you will be received and transferred to the hotel. After the breakfast visit the Kumbh sights and see the camps spread in acres all around the Sangam area with millions of people worshipping and millions of visitors roaming around.
Day 05:Allahabad:
Full day sightseeing at Allahabad to witness the Kumbh Fair.
Day 06: Allahabad-Varanasi:
Drive straight to Varanasi. On arrival you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Later after the lunch move out for the sight seeing tour of Sarnath where Buddha preached his first sermon. Evening free to enjoy the evening Aarti at Ganges.
Day 07: Varanasi:Move out for a morning guided spiritual tour along the banks of the river Ganges and also take a boat ride over this sacred river. Here you will witness the Sadhus taking dip in the Ganges with their daily practices of Surya Namaskar (Preying of Lord Sun while taking dip in the Ganges) and different rituals of Hindu religion performed on the banks of Ganges. Also visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, observatory and Bharat Mata Temple.
Day 08: Varanasi-Delhi:
The day at your discretion. You will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for New Delhi. On arrival you will be received and transferred to your hotel.
Day 09: New Delhi:
The day at your discretion. At an appropriate time you will be transferred to the International airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
